Owen Gleiberman Variety In the end, the audience has to answer the question that’s put to the characters: Do we care more about the $5 million or them? I confess I wound up with the wrong answer. Aug 21, 2022 Full Review Gary M. Kramer Salon.com This film offers some interesting food for thought for folks who are game. Aug 19, 2022 Full Review Katie Walsh Tribune News Service It’s all just a little too immaculately rendered to be satisfying, or even compelling beyond the initial conceit. Rated: 2/4 Aug 19, 2022 Full Review Nuha Hassan Nuha Hassan The Immaculate Room has interesting ideas, but the results are not cohesive enough for a stronger character journey. Sep 8, 2023 Full Review Michael Atkinson LA Weekly/Village Voice Sometimes, high concept means an absence of concept altogether. Like a sensory deprivation tank, the new non-thriller The Immaculate Room is so empty it dares you to fill it up with your own ideas and narrative stuff. Dec 23, 2022 Full Review Marshall Shaffer Decider The Immaculate Room becomes about as nondescript and bland as its one setting. Nov 29, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews

Nathan H This movie surprised me...and at the same time played out exacty as it was drawn up - literally. The art sketched out on the walls played perfectly with the situations throughout the film, and were framed in exacting cinematic composition to accentuate the inner workings of the characters motivations thoughout the film. It draws on many symbolic references common to surrealism - mountains, birds etc., to produce an amazing blend of internal conflict meets external reaction. I'm looking forward another, deeper dive into the film and it's nuanced and creative approach to story telling. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/11/23 Full Review Kaitie G Honestly one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I feel like I just watched nothing. Where was the plot? Where was the suspense? So sad that I spent the last few hours of my weekend on this movie. I'm genuinely mad that I wasted precious hours of my life on this movie. In my 25 years, I've never felt the need to leave a movie review. Though after watching this movie I had to create an account just to save anyone else from wasting any time on this movie. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/07/23 Full Review Jason L The story was a little bland. I was interested in the meta information of the room but that was not provided nor clarified. It was all based on the experiences of Mike and Kate. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/02/23 Full Review Jeffrey P A film doesn't get much more minimalist than this. Unfortunately, that minimalism doesn't allow for much of anything else, but it makes good use of what it has. Derpy ending did it no favors. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 06/27/23 Full Review Kate H How many directors/writers/editors watched this and missed that there was a time glitch in the movie? Like I'm extremely confused by that. Did no one edit the film? Like no one at all caught this at all. Very hard to believe. Also, the last scene where she completely ignores his question about the money and then the shot of the plaque was the absolute worst hahaha like I actually cringed. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Enjoyed the concept and finished to see how to resolved. Big (raspberry) 👎🏽👎🏽.
