Jeffrey P As minimalist and uneventful as they come. Would have worked better as a PSA on behalf of dead bodies found that were apparent victims of hunting accidents never reported. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/25/24 Full Review stockpyleart I hate watched this as soon as he borrowed a rifle with irons from a neighbor to go deer hunting. A caricature depiction of a culture through the lens of a cidiot that plays out like an after school special. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/18/23 Full Review Eugene W Horrible movie. Main character did an awful job. Director had many holes. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/04/23 Full Review Jerod S He does have integrity. But I'm not sure that I was that interested in watching him think through the consequences of having accidentally shot someone while hunting solo. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 10/25/23 Full Review KB B This was much ado about nothing. Don't bother with this one. Certain experts gave this 90%....hmmm. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 10/11/23 Full Review Les N Hilarious to read the reviews of this film and no need to guess that they are entertained by video games and nothing else. Brilliant film. Peter Bradshaw Guardian The minute Joseph steps into this disenchanted forest, tripping over every tree root, you can sense the impending disaster, and the horror that Machoian’s movie is moving towards. Rated: 4/5 Apr 10, 2023 Full Review Glenn Kenny RogerEbert.com “The Integrity of Joseph Chambers” is a reasonably well-constructed non-hero’s journey that may resonate with you if you’re not already sick of movies set on anatomizing the Crisis of White Masculinity in These United States. Rated: 2/4 Feb 18, 2023 Full Review Adam Kempenaar Filmspotting Machoian and his sound designer, Peter Albrechtsen, layer those natural sounds with occasional bursts of seemingly unnatural ones, mirroring Joseph’s increasingly unbalanced psyche and maximizing tension. Rated: 3.5/5 Feb 17, 2023 Full Review Richard Crouse Richard Crouse It asks more questions than it answers, and will likely frustrate those wanting a pat ending, but it raises interesting questions about the real meaning of masculinity. Rated: 3/5 Jan 25, 2024 Full Review David Parkinson Radio Times [Clayne] Crawford's character is alternately empathetic and pathetic, and the film reinforces how utterly out of his depth he is through its evocative use of cinematography, sound design and score. Rated: 4/5 Jul 6, 2023 Full Review Alistair Lawrence Common Sense Media In The Integrity of Joseph Chambers, Crawford takes a break from his mainstream movie and TV roles to play Joe, a jovial family man whose behavior hints at feelings of inadequacy beneath the surface.
