Audience Member (Int. Used Bookstore) Urainia: (blows dust off cover of book "The Gunas") Who is the savior of the Goonies? Apasmara: I don't understand. Urainia: Who is the savior of the Gunas? Apasmara: Themselves? Urainia: Yes, but that's not what I was getting at. Who is the superhero waiting to assist them who everyone thinks is a monster the Italian criminal mother has locked up in the basement? Apasmara: Playberg? Urainia: Not Playberg! No, it's the creation of Playberg that's locked-up, who is it? Apasmara: Ummm... Urainia: It's Sloth! Sloth is the locked up superman who has been fed a steady stream of Hollywood movies while his family abuses him. Sloth lives for Hollywood, and Sloth uses what he learned from movies to save the family which saved him. (pause) And who is Sloth's lover? Apasmara: The fat kid. Urainia: He's not fat anymore, he's a Lawyer...anyway, Chunk is Sloth's savior. Chunk is Gluttony. Apasmara: What's your point? Urainia: That these deadly sins aren't so deadly. That these deadly sins can save one another through Love. Apasmara: It's just a movie. Urainia: The Gunas is not just a movie. Although, I do have a hard time explaining away why you sexually exploit underage cheerleaders. I suggest you figure that out yourself, because I have no answer for you there. Subpar all around although I was pleased to find Sabrina Siani here who I remembered from Throne of Fire. She has a tough time keeping her top on. Did like the claymation dinosaur fight. Heavily padded run-time with many scenes in super slo-mo and some illogical narration added. Fans of the genre will enjoy the movie but I enjoyed Sabrina Siani's appearance most.
