Louise A Loved this film. Not sure why it gets bad reviews. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/13/23 Full Review frank l This movie is the first in the Baztan trilogie. I highly recommend watching #2 The Legacy of The bones and #3; The Offering to the Storm. The invisible guardian was useless and made the trilogy drag out for too long. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/18/23 Full Review T T Below average movie. It's the first part of a trilogy. The story is barely ok, but not really good. The lead detective/protagonist is incompetent, unlikeable, and annoying. Bad acting. Good cinematography though. If you have nothing better to do, it's worth watching. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Predictable storyline but beautifully shot. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Terrible acting and very poor story. Makes absolutely no sense. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Gianmarco R Nice detective movie with an acceptable detective storyline with a completely useless supernatural subplot that gives nothing to the movie. Really wasted the subplot for its uselessness, without the subplot the film would also be cute, dark and suspense, but the useless and little mentioned subplot is there and it's annoying. For the rest, the film is a very valid detective story Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/27/21 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Andrea G. Bermejo Cinemanía (Spain) Someone said that the actors are not directed, they are chosen... fragile and strong, wounded and determined, the protagonist of The Invisible Guardian is the perfect choice. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 3.5/5 Mar 15, 2018 Full Review Luis Martínez El Mundo (Spain) In spite of the good work of its cast, the film is shipwrecked in its badly repressed desire to transcend the letter of the crime. [Full review in Spanish] Aug 8, 2017 Full Review Javier Ocaña El Pais (Spain) In spite of his youth, there's much effort, control, narrative and visual wisdom from the director Fernando Gonzlez Molina. But there's no brilliance. [Full review in Spanish] Aug 8, 2017 Full Review Mikel Zorrilla Espinof A film with a certain visual appeal spoiled by an improved narrative due to poor construction of both the story itself and the characters. [Full review in Spanish] Aug 8, 2017 Full Review Paula Arantzazu Ruiz Sensacine At a time when spanish thriller it's gaining popularity, this film contributes little to the genre when it could have transformed some of the conventions of current noir.
