It used dramatic music to try and build tension without earning it, neither boring nor exciting. Someone wrote 'it is what it is', and it was what it was. Not the worst movie I've seen but I wouldn't recommend it particularly. See more Jay C @RT90156362 09/04/2023 entertaining, but the story was very bland and predictable. it felt like a 1980s action movie, written by a middle schooler... it can be enjoyable as a comedy at how badly the story plays out. kind of like "the room" there's even a "oh hi Mark" moment with one of the islanders. :D some good actors here and there (the police chief and the main villain), but many of the main characters are acted poorly...
