Interesting melodrama in the context of KANSAS 'JAYHAWKERS' before the Civil War. Not everyone would think its so great. Hey, there was a actor named JIMMY CARTER. Jeff Chandler and Fess Parker give good performances. The script is a little slow in places. Melvin Frank did an alright job directing this movie. I liked this motion picture because of the romance and adventure.
