Interesting melodrama in the context of KANSAS 'JAYHAWKERS' before the Civil War. Not everyone would think its so great. Hey, there was a actor named JIMMY CARTER. See more ashley h @ashleyhobgood87 12/10/2017 The Jayhawkers is a decent film. It is about a power broker who is engaged in a battle with a bounty-hunter. Jeff Chandler and Fess Parker give good performances. The script is a little slow in places. Melvin Frank did an alright job directing this movie. I liked this motion picture because of the romance and adventure. See more 02/25/2011 Man set on vengeance finds himself drawn in by his enemy's charisma. Average western with Parker the very definition of wooden, Jeff Chandler gives a good performance though.
