SICKS6SIX This cast could make the worst script worth watching. As it is it has a great script. Beryl Reed has to just look into a camera and youl laugh. Sellers at his best and all supporting cast members shine like stars. If you like your humour dry like 007s Martini you will be shaken and stirred. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/08/22 Full Review Audience Member A neglected gem. A hopeless barrister (Peter Sellers) manoeuvres himself into defending a mousey and ordinary bird-loving murderer (Attenborough rehearsing his Rillington Place role), whose awful wife (Beryl Reid) has been openly cavorting with their lodger. Most of the action takes place in the prison cell, although they are able to swoop in on scenes at home and in the courtroom like a pair of Dickensian ghosts. The sparring and subtle comic interplay between Sellers and Attenborough is wonderful, never overdone and often genuinely touching, and James Hill directs with real flair.
