Audience Member Quite good martial arts action film about the titular tattooed kid seeking justice against a group of heroin smugglers who kill his master. The characters and story aren't all that clever or original, but the action and direction were very well done. I'm not that familiar with director Sun Chung, but he brings a lot of style to the film's excellently choreographed fight sequences, creatively employing slow-motion and choosing interesting camera placements and angles. I also wasn't all that familiar with most of the film's stars, but the film apparently features Jackie Chan's kung-fu classmates Yuen Hua and Yuan Pin. Wah Yuen is the only actor who I was familiar. But overall, this is a very strong martial arts action film that had some terrific fight sequences and production values. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
