The director seemed to have a strange fascination with the lead taking off her shirt and wearing super short skirts, and the camera lingered on her in ways that made me uncomfortable.

I watch romcoms to sleep, since the plot is pretty much always the same. This one kept me awake. Halfway through it I figured it had to be from a fanfic and guess what?? I can't judge the original book since it was literally written by a 15yo, but why adapt this?
