The Last Thing I See

The four young leads do phenomenal work, the characters and setting are fleshed out and authentic, and the supporting players are top notch (including an unexpectedly chilling villain).

It's nothing especially fresh - but it's a solid story of 4 inner city boys that are wanting to make it in the skateboarding world. When small crimes open doors for larger ones with more $, they get in over their heads.

The Land is a great debut by Steven Caple Jr. Thanks to a cast with great chemistry, led by Jorge Lendeborg, the character driven story thrives - even if there isn’t anything “new” to this type of narrative.

Not as desperation provoking as FRESH+Brooklyn's Finest. The movie still portrays the reality of living amidst fellow citizens in a landscape negatively affected by the UPPER CLASS business and culturally significant difference in Advertising directed at impoverished blacks+Puerto Ricans.It highlights the feeding frenzy frenetic immolation which comes from hopelessness and despair! The ending seemed to focus upon this inevitability!
