"The Land" consists of six wild tales with one common thing -- Poland. Every story works perfectly by itself but together they're even stronger. Each episode seems to be usual and ordinary at the beginning but suddenly they have incredible twists which lead the protagonists at the verge of nervous breakdown. Road traffic policeman (Krzysztof Stroiński) chooses quite radical methods to calm road pirates. The construction worker (Tomasz Włosok) in his fight for parental rights accidentally drops the child. The owner of a family company (Marian Dziędziel) awaits control of tax office clerks which is supposed to be nasty but it will get even worse than expected. The contemporary art gallery curator realizes that her ex-lover is appointed as the new director of the institution. The infertile married couple have to get rid of the young female tenant of their flat with a baby boy. The neighbors start a small war of fireworks but when their wives sexual affairs come out at the same time, a rather devastating arms race of deeply hurt males erupts.
