"Land Before Time 2 is an underwhelming sequel to the original classic animated film. The animation is outdated and lacks the charm of the first movie. The storyline is unoriginal and fails to capture the magic of the original. The characters are one-dimensional and the voice acting is subpar. The film falls short in comparison to the original and is not worth your time.

The negative reviews surprised me on here tbh. I watched this as a kid in 1994, and I'm now rewatching with my own children. It's definitely a cute show. There is a larger emphasis on the musical scores in this sequel to the original (this became more commonplace with films in the 90s). The voice actors are different than they were in the original, but it's not really noticeable. Overall a great film!

I loved this sequel when I was a boy (and a part of me still does), but now as an adult, I feel that the first movie is tons tons better. Maybe it is because us people who once were Children are too old now to listen to all of the Sing-along-Song moments of this movie. But show your children this movie. They will love it. They may grow out of it one day too, but they will love it now. Also…I love Chomper!!

Such a fun and enjoyable follow up to the original and without a doubt the best Of many sequels to come out of the land before time series with an imaginative plot, entertaining comic relief antagonists and a new breakout character Chomper the kids are sure to enjoy
