Finding the long-lost wreck of the warship USS Charlotte has been the lifelong pursuit of Levi (Julian Sands), an aging expat running a tourist dive business in the British Virgin Islands together with recent college dropout Noah (Jack Parr). When the USS Charlotte emerges for the first time in eighty years after a tropical storm, Noah's friends visiting the island insist for them all to do a once-in-a-lifetime dive on the newly discovered wreck before it’s handed over to the authorities. The dream dive rapidly turns into a nightmare as they become trapped in the darkness of the Charlotte's interior, thirty meters down and with a dwindling air supply. And then they discover that they are not alone.

Claudia Puig FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) There's sharks, if you're into that, but it's pretty tedious. Aug 3, 2024 Full Review Glenn Kenny RogerEbert.com As goofy and unconvincing as it often is, “The Last Breath” is difficult to get exasperated over. It may go down easier still if you opt to see it in a very well-air-conditioned setting. Rated: 2/4 Jul 26, 2024 Full Review Noah Berlatsky Chicago Reader Is it great art? No. Is it good art? Also no. But there is something satisfying about the blank, sleek, toothy justice of it. Jul 24, 2024 Full Review Derek Sante KSNV (Las Vegas) A simplistic film that overextends. Rated: C Aug 23, 2024 Full Review Nicholas Bell Fish Jelly Films (YouTube) Death by shark is an appropriately longed for finale as any possibly could be for this clutch of silly, stupid characters bumbling about like brainless morons in yet another boring, tensionless time waster. Rated: 1/5 Aug 7, 2024 Full Review Aaron Neuwirth We Live Entertainment Some compelling moments aside, it feels fairly generic and less fun than it could have been. Basically, The Last Breath lacks bite. Rated: 4/10 Aug 7, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Ricardo d O nivel de inteligência dos personagens se resume na fala: Tubarões tem ouvidos? São tantas pérolas de memes que nem vale a pena comentar. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 10/30/24 Full Review Dan R Here comes another shark movie in the form of 2024's 'Last Breath'. SYNOPSIS: 'A group of college friends reunite on a Caribbean scuba diving trip exploring the wreckage of a WWII battleship and find themselves trapped inside the underwater labyrinth of rusted metal surrounded by great white sharks.' Here comes another film trying to take its marketplace value from fans of the shark genre, but being overly rowdy and throwing in loads of blood doesn't always work. There's a decent amount of tension in the dive itself, but not in the horrors of the deep. It's genre trope heavy but the delivery really isn't good. It's forgettable in comparison with other additions into this sub genre of horror films and will vanish as quickly as it arrives. Not great! 4/10 Rated 2 out of 5 stars 09/17/24 Full Review Michael R The idea and plot had great potential, but unfortunately, it was poorly executed. Some of the acting was questionable, and the realism of the underwater scenes left much to be desired. I found myself questioning whether some of the actions depicted could actually be done underwater, which left me confused at times. This is a skip and try something else in my opinion Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 08/22/24 Full Review Sam C I don’t see why this movie didn’t get a better rating or these so called critics. This was way better including the acting and scripted than Sharks In Paris! Loved it Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/13/24 Full Review Mick G Fans looking to get their teeth into something will be left somewhat disappointed. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/12/24 Full Review Audience Member Gave me 47 metres down vibes wasn’t on the edge of my seat watchable but not great no suspense as a shark film disappointing Rated 2 out of 5 stars 08/10/24 Full Review Read all reviews
