      The Last Days on Mars

      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

Neither intelligent enough to work as thought-provoking sci-fi nor trashy enough to provide B-movie thrills, The Last Days on Mars proves as cinematically barren as the titular planet.

Ashley M Boring and predictable. It was nothing more than your standard cliche zombie-like virus with the twist that it took place on Mars. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/01/24 Full Review John Z Fast Walking Zombies On Mars. Mostly unlikable characters with the exception of the main two. Plot is okay, but implementation is horrible, making you not care 30 minutes in. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/08/24 Full Review K B I liked it….. it has lots of hate for some reason but most all movies have covered the same stuff. Watch it Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/24 Full Review Dustin B After reading the reviews, you would think this was a terrible movie. I absolutely loved it. Definitely would tweak some things, but overall great Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/25/24 Full Review Lance J I bought the dvd at the dollar tree, now i know why it was there. This movie looks like it should be good, but i fell asleep. They managed to take mars, space, action, good actors, and zombies, and make it boring. That's quite an accomplishment. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/05/23 Full Review Joe W Not too bad a movie. A little disappointing, though, that they used a cliché as the Mars emergency. Kate Muir Times (UK) Liev Schreiber and Romola Garai struggle to find chemistry in their Mars rover, while Olivia Williams keeps her exasperation at full throttle. Dec 31, 2017 Full Review Tirdad Derakhshani Philadelphia Inquirer A sci-fi-horror yarn stocked with a winning cast but hobbled by a lamebrained script and dull set pieces. Rated: 2/4 Jun 13, 2017 Full Review Geoffrey Macnab Independent (UK) This sci-fi drama begins promisingly but loses its way in the Martian dust. Rated: 2/5 Apr 11, 2014 Full Review Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review The material proves describable only through other films and never stands out on its own. Rated: 2.5/4 Aug 22, 2022 Full Review Richard Crouse Richard Crouse Spends a bit too much time in faux Kubrick Mode before switching to full-on Corman style exploitation, but once it clicks over it'll make your pulse race. Rated: 2/5 Feb 1, 2021 Full Review Nicholas Bell IONCINEMA.com Robinson has crafted a film that is too simple and too similar to other titles, an unconvincing rendering that fails to engage.
