Jeffrey P Okay action movie dealing with the slowly becoming extinct sub-genre of - the drug deal. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 11/12/23 Full Review Henry M Impressive. Not at all what I expected. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/19/23 Full Review trevor k Written by someone who's never been in the game before. Amature mistakes all around, plot is easily guessed. Typical low budget Starz flick, few actors were decent. Rest were... meh, ive seen worse. Couldn't believe all the 5 stars for this film Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/23/23 Full Review Markis G Kickass indie film with probably one of the better synthwave soundtracks I've heard since the days when my brother and me tried to imitate the original Terminator score on our Yamaha black and whites! Loved the weed angle. Some plot points could have been developed better but fun Friday night watch. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/29/23 Full Review Esther V A realistic drug trade film If you like shows, movies or documentaries that deal with the drug trade this is definitely for you. The film really makes you care about the central character as his world collapses due to the legalization of Marijuana. It reminded me a little bit of the movie 'The Gambler' because things just get worse and worse as the film progresses. It's intense. L. A is almost like a character in the film in the sense that quite a bit of the story was shot outside and this makes the movies vibrant, alive. I loved that! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/21/23 Full Review Gabriel G I loved this movie because it addresses a shift in the drug trade within U.S borders: The legalization of marijuana and how it affects those who dealt in the growth and distribution of this controlled substance. The cinematography was amazing, the story believable, and the characters all looked and behaved like they belonged to the underbelly of society. Anthony Molinari was great in Tenet and The Fighter and he's amazing in this too. Loved it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/10/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Pia Kirby Roycroft Film Ireland Magazine Overall, director Salemi delivers a film that is impressive and impactful despite the fiscal constraints. Dec 2, 2023 Full Review Abbie Bernstein Assignment X The Last Deal doesn’t wholly deliver on its early promise, but for fans of fare like Cisco Pike, it’s worth a watch. Rated: B May 2, 2023 Full Review Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com I'd love to see what Salemi could do with a bigger budget. His work here is impressive and if there's any justice in the cinematic world Hollywood is watching and will be knocking on his door. Rated: 3.5/4.0 Apr 23, 2023 Full Review Michael Talbot-Haynes Film Threat [Jonathan] Salemi adds some good dramatic work for everyone without stepping on the thrill quotient. Rated: 9/10 Mar 29, 2023 Full Review Anton Bitel Projected Figures Like a gangster film set in the Prohibition era, this chronicle of the Green Rush shows a criminal underworld unnecessarily but inevitably maintained by market forces during a War on Drugs in its last gasp. Mar 12, 2023 Full Review Tony Asankomah GhMovieFreak The last Deal is a very well-made film. It doesn’t have the look and feel of your typical small-budget indie film. It certainly has the muscle to rub shoulders with any crime thriller that comes to mind. And Molinari’s performance makes it even better. Rated: 7/10 Feb 9, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews
