Carolina B @RT50659706 4h What a terrible movie, unwatchable I'd say. There are inconsistencies right from the first scenes: the narrator says it's "almost winter," but the protagonist (the wife) says on the same morning "it's Christmas." In the first frames, it's early morning, a family is already in the garden dressed in spring/autumn clothes, while the main family is still asleep. Then they get up and put on winter clothes with hats and scarves to go out: what season and time of day did you decide to set it? Aside from that: halting dialogue, unconvincing lines. As for the technical aspects of the direction/screenplay, and other aspects, I don't feel like commenting because I'm not an expert or a professional, but as an audience, I can say: it's awful. When a storm approaches the coastal town, he returns home but cannot open the garage gate. Soon they realize that the family is locked inside the house without communication and cannot leave. They start to communicate with their neighbors through blackboard. Ann plants vegetables inside the house and Jason plots a machine to hunt small animals. Until the day they a creature comes with the rain is hunting them down. "The Last House" (2026) is one of the most intriguing and different films recently released. The first point to highlight is the performance of the cast that shows great chemistry. The plot has not only the union and fight to survive, but also sympathy and mercy through the answer of nature to mankind abuse. My vote is seven.
