A pair of interwoven stories set in the present and past, THE LAST LETTER FROM YOUR LOVER follows Ellie Haworth (Felicity Jones), an ambitious journalist who discovers a trove of secret love letters from 1965 and becomes determined to solve the mystery of the forbidden affair at their center. As she uncovers the story behind Jennifer Stirling (Shailene Woodley), the wife of a wealthy industrialist, and Anthony O'Hare (Callum Turner) the financial journalist assigned to cover him, a love story of Ellie's own begins to unfold with the assistance of an earnest and endearing archivist (Nabhaan Rizwan) who helps her track down more letters. Based on the novel by JoJo Moyes and directed by Augustine Frizzell.

I don't really like romance movies, but this one I found entertaining and engaging. The what ifs of the story were heart breaking. The predictable happy ending was no surprise, but well executed. Felicity Jones was terrific. Really liked this film.

I don't know what all these other people saw, but I saw true love in the making and two souls who just couldn't quite reach each other even when it was all their hearts desired, I saw that true love lasts a lifetime even if you are parted for half of it, I guess none of them have experienced real true deep soul love. Thats all I saw and that's what made it magic! I've seen this in real life, granted not an entire lifetime yet, but two souls madly in love who just can't quite make it. I know it's real and its heartbreaking.

This movie was so good, I always watch the preview because it all such a good story. Even though she cheated on her husband that didn't really do anything it was just a loveless marriage and Callum turner is WORTH IT. Their chemistry and the story was kept me entertained the whole time. i love it
