Alissa Wilkinson New York Times The combative camaraderie that Pink and Kinzinger demonstrate respects both of them as humans — without softening their stances one bit. I hope to see more films like this one in the years to come. Jan 3, 2025 Full Review Matt Zoller Seitz RogerEbert.com Mostly elides Kinzinger's positions on various issues, seemingly to make him more palatable here as a Capra-esque hero who is exclusively defined by standing up to corruption, and against a politician that the filmmaker also opposes. Rated: 2.5/4 Nov 22, 2024 Full Review Frank Scheck The Hollywood Reporter The handsome, charismatic and extremely articulate politician proves a natural camera subject and self-deprecatingly takes pains to downplay his moral stance. Sep 10, 2024 Full Review Julian Roman MovieWeb The Last Republican offers a remarkable profile of courage and conviction against daunting threats, sycophantic fealty, and blatant lies masking contemptible cowardice. Rated: 4/5 Jan 7, 2025 Full Review Mike McGranaghan Aisle Seat A trenchant political documentary. Rated: 3.5/4 Jan 3, 2025 Full Review Avi Offer NYC Movie Guru Mildly engaging, but often dull, myopic and incomplete. Jan 2, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews

Douglas Fingeroff What would be far more interesting would be a film about Adam Kinzinger realizing that he threw away his career for no reason at all. Watch him getting ghosted by Rachael Maddow. It would be great for him to watch Trump's reputation grow by the day. End the movie with him spinning a sign in front of a Verizon. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/07/25 Full Review Jules c It gave me a glimpse and hope of what our better selves could be. This person simply did the job he was elected to do.....uphold the constitution. It was well done and came off as authentic. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/05/25 Full Review Audience Member Yawwwwwnnnn. In the end, did make a difference? Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/08/25 Full Review Read all reviews
