Most of the beats that play out the rest of the way are predictable. But this movie, directed by Carlson Young and based on the novel from Anna Todd, isn’t one you come to for originality Go to Full Review

The latest offering in Amazon’s endless catalogue of “romance content”. I wouldn’t ordinarily use that term to describe a film, but it fits The Last Sunrise (indifferently directed by Carlson Young) like a glove. Go to Full Review

Despite some script inconsistencies, like why a character who grew up in Mallorca speaks little to no Spanish, the film tries to understand the local point of view (anti-tourist, enjoy life attitudes). And Mallorca simply glimmers. Go to Full Review

You might know roughly where the story is headed from the beginning, but if you don't mind knowing, I can promise it will be worth the wait. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Chickoo P @RT65100302 19 hrs ago Just a Routine kind of film with a bit of romance, doesn't feel anything, poor story, bland narration, just a one-time watchable with a few skips. See more Steven C. @st3ven_650 1 day ago It's a solide 6/10 at most in my opinion. The story its quite more interesting then other rom-cons i seen. But its the way the story moves is okay. The characters are alright at most. Broo the Julian looks like Masan Thame lol and the girl is okay but I do like her twist of how she's dying and shiiii and the end is wholesome of course like almost every rom-con but it's kinda slow ish boring at times and somtimes they kinda overreacting some scenes but either then that I'm not watching this movke ever again 😭🤞🏽 See more Hannah C @HannahGrace1939 1 day ago This movie was seriously really bad. Amazon Prime was clearly riding on the high of their YA romance movie and TV shows. However, this film really failed to make any attempt of a decent movie. Nothing in the movie was original. Our main female character really didn't have much of a personality other than just being really bored with life. She's a dancer and we didn't really get to see much of that, nor does she talk about it. Our main male character had a lot of potential and it seemed like his story arch wasn't that well thought out. He had all the typical bad boy traits and there was nothing that made he unique. The dialogue was so rough to listen to. A lot of the plot points aren't well flushed out and none of the characters seemed very likable. It really is the same story regurgitated. I would say to save your time with this one. It’s cringy, unnecessarily uncomfortable, and the acting is awful. Please do not watch this, I do not recommend. Don’t waste your time. See more Cyndi L @RT57228102 4 days ago I thought that this was a beautiful piece of art. I would ten out of ten recommend to my friends and family to watch.
