Chris (Ken McDougall), a choreographer and dancer, is dying of AIDS. The disease has spread throughout most of his body and, rather than continue with a treatment aimed at prolonging his life, Chris decides to put an end to his suffering. He enlists the services of a doctor who will administer a lethal drug into Chris' body. In the last hours of his life, Chris has dinner with his best friend and lover, Val (Jack Nicholsen), who encourages Chris to turn his death into one final work of art.
