karina It's one of those cases where the trailer was better than the film. (spoilers ahead) PLOT SUMMARY: Some guy with anger issues kills a girl because she says he has no balls; the girl's friend videotapes it; the guy with anger issues then kills all his 'friends' when they didn't do something the way he wanted (to get the camera off of the girl); then the girl kicks him off and he dies. I was expecting more of rock cimbing within the film. The girl literally sets camp up on a cliff for half the film. Watch Everest instead, that gave me the rock climbing film experience I wanted Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/29/24 Full Review Sparkle L It's a ROUGH watch! Pushed myself to 40 minutes but I just can't watch any further. It's bad enough that the main villain in the movie is over-acting and instead of coming off as a dangerous, irrational guy, is coming off like a caricature of the role. The lines are basic and repetitive. Also the main protagonist does the dumbest things like leisurely walking to her screaming friend, tripping on absolutely nothing, and she's supposed to be an experienced hiker but sits her water bottle on the cliff where there's barely enough room to move and drops it. They could have done so much better! This was stupid! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/24 Full Review Josh D Im absolutely sorry but how did this make it past the pitching point ¿ Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/04/23 Full Review J I mean I've seen worse movies... the acting was not great but I kept watching just to see what was going to happen, so it wasn't a total waste. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/04/23 Full Review Cinder F I loved it so much I thought it was well made. I feel like the ending could have been a little bit different but overall it was a very good movie! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/04/23 Full Review Marie M Poor dialogue, stupid characters. You knew how it would end. (Trailer did Spoiler like always.) The only thing that kept me was the thrill of the environment and wanting to know if they somehow would do anything smart. Dallas King Flick Feast This thriller should have you on the ledge of your seat, however the end result is not really worth the climb. Rated: 2/5 Nov 13, 2022 Full Review Josh Parham Next Best Picture The lazy broad strokes taken within the script are what ultimately contribute to this dull and tedious experience. Rated: 3/10 Jun 8, 2022 Full Review Joel Copling Spectrum Culture At some point, Boyle writes himself into a creative corner with a premise this spare and skeletal. Mar 20, 2022 Full Review Martin Unsworth Starburst Despite being set in the great outdoors, there’s a claustrophobic atmosphere that overpowers any of the shortcomings of the script, resulting in an impressive, if flawed, nightmare. Rated: 3/5 Mar 14, 2022 Full Review Anton Bitel VODzilla.co Making the most of its picturesque Alpine setting, this is a taut flick that delivers plenty of dizzying edge to accompany its feminist outlook, without ever getting elevated above its B-movie station. Mar 13, 2022 Full Review Keri O'Shea Warped Perspective The main plot driver here is the film's greatest sticking point, and whilst this is not an issue which ever really goes away, you have to look past it to enjoy the more successful aspects.
