StephenPaul C The greatest 01 hour: and 21 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/13/23 Full Review Audience Member The funniest and most original family animated movie ever, LOL!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member This a brilliant film. I love the Animation, the story is great. The change of title in the US was wrong. For my money it beat some of later Disney, Pixar and Dreamworks films. I think in time, others will see it, this film is wonderful, it has a true heart to it. Five stars from me. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member I would give it three stars, but I doubt I'm really going to have the urge to watch it again. It's okay, the animation isn't bad for a B CGI movie. At least they don't really burst into song in this one, there are parts where I'm not entirely sure it's supposed to be a family movie or if it's just an animated movie that resembles a family film. Some parts are a little dark, with all the attempted murder and what not. I really wanted to choke the crow though, that animal noise/talk makes you wanna hurt someone Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member a nice movie. exploration of Inuit culture, not very high but far to be boring, useful for kids and a really good animation. the story is basic, the old fairy tale spirit is present, the characters are charming and no surprises . Christopher Plummer is himself and old shaman represents one of great good points of film. the young actors seems be the best choices for characters of adventurers. the only problem is the dialog. who, in many scenes seems be almost fake. sure, it is a movie for children but that not is a realistic excuse for that.the second problem - the good goddess who is not the most inspired drawing. a good point, almost a virtue - the music. short - a nice film for entire family. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member The lamest movie I've ever seen. So stupid and boring. A wast of my 2 dollars to rent it from redbox Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Tracy Moore Common Sense Media Adventure tale about Inuit youths is spirited but perilous. Rated: 3/5 Jul 8, 2014 Full Review Charles Solomon Animation Scoop The Legend of Sarila grafts a veneer of Inuit culture onto a very formulaic story that borrows heavily from mainstream American animation. Nov 6, 2013 Full Review Jeff Heinrich Montreal Gazette Quebec makes a successful foray into the world of digital 3D animation with this Inuit-inspired tale of the life-changing adventures of three teenagers in a far North ravaged by famine.
