It's been nearly a decade since Tarzan (Alexander Skarsgård), also known as John Clayton III, left Africa to live in Victorian England with his wife Jane. Danger lurks on the horizon as Leon Rom (Christoph Waltz), a treacherous envoy for King Leopold, devises a scheme that lures the couple to the Congo. Rom plans to capture Tarzan and deliver him to an old enemy in exchange for diamonds. When Jane becomes a pawn in his devious plot, Tarzan must return to the jungle to save the woman he loves.

Fantastic, epic, stylish and sometimes heart breaking movie. The musical score and the photography are exquisite and the acting is powerfull. It's a must see, critics are sometimes crazy, don't listen to them, this movie is badly underrated. Perhaps the only critic I can make is the unnecessary use of poor CGI at the end of the movie.

I read all the Tarzan books. None of the Tarzan movies ever showed the apes as being different like they are in the book, this is the first movie I’ve ever seen where they actually showed that they were not Gorillas in the conventional sense. I thoroughly enjoyed the acting and thought Alexander Skarsgård did an amazing job of bringing Tarzan to life in a way that haven’t been done before. I don’t like that people seem to criticize this movie more than they just enjoy it for being fun.

Synopsis
