Evelyn S Remember this movie fondly from my childhood. Watched it again recently, and it still surprisingly holds up. Could do with a little less of the spiritual realm stuff (doesn't quite fit or add much to the plot of the movie, which is three kidnapped kids outsmarting their captors. Honestly, I think the ending would be more satisfying if the kids managed to save themselves and get the bad guys solely through street smarts and quick thinking, as well as an increased repsect for the wilderness (in which they use the environment to their advantage while the bad guys are floundering about). Otherwise a solid movie, with humorous beats and adventure.
