I would have preferred a faster pace. Some of the humor wasn't so funny. And I got quite tired of their son's whining. Having said that, I enjoyed the movie. Mirren & Sutherland are well paired. Under the circumstances, I think the ending was an agreeable one. I'm 79 years old, a year older than Mirren & 9 yrs younger than Southerland. The movie struck more chords for me than it would have 20-30 years ago. Janis Joplin singing "Me & Bobby McGee" fit perfectly. "Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose."

Perhaps predictable, but very well produced and with a wonderful acting performance by Helen Mirren and Donald Sutherland. This movie always runs on a thin line between comedy and drama. However, in the end, a romantic and moving story!

I tripped over this movie on Hulu. Watched it based on Helen Miren and Donald Sutherland. I wasn't disappointed!! Two excellent actors at the top of their game. As it turns out the plot confronts the physical and emotional challenge of aging. Totally enjoyed it.

A movie that resonates with an older crowd and hits so many points dead on. I do not know how I would've felt about this movie in my younger years, but I think it's a great conversation piece for multi-geberational families.

Amo esses filmes fofinhos e tristes, ao mesmo tempo, poético e melancólico, feito para nos emocionar até a última lágrima… E a trilha sonora, para embalar os rompantes de memória dela, e a amor incondicional dela… Coisa mais Fofa e encantadora… Não tão dramático, por terem focado na carga cômica, e aquele final surpreendente, e, em simultâneo, previsível, paradoxo, como a vida e a morte, saúde e doença…
