Manny P Could have sworn I was watching something by Ben Wheatley ? Roth " dialled " this in. Reminded me of a poor mans "Leon". Funny in parts, utterly ridiculous in others. Seemed like a good idea at the time, no doubt. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 08/04/21 Full Review Audience Member Simply brilliant from start to finish. Nothing more to say Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review laurie s Some of the aspects of the plot are rice paper thin but it's still an engaging film. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member almost a good movie - love Tim Roth, but not quite believable in this role Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Frances H Okay, but not really good--it should have been done for a comedy, like SNATCH. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/06/19 Full Review Audience Member This looks so awesome and Tim Roth is the best which makes it that little bit more brilliant. Ryan Gilbey New Statesman It's the performances of Roth and O'Connell (and that of Peter Mullan as their imposing boss) that I want to highlight here. Jun 3, 2013 Full Review Charlotte O'Sullivan London Evening Standard Films are invariably fuelled by fantasy but it's the supposedly gritty context that makes this stuff so hard to swallow. Rated: 2/5 May 17, 2013 Full Review Peter Bradshaw Guardian A flawed but interesting downbeat Brit thriller with some creepy, leftfield jolts, calling to mind Mike Hodges with a twist of Tarantino. Rated: 3/5 May 16, 2013 Full Review Adam Lowes CineVue Straddles a number of interesting sub-genres. It's a shame these outwardly intriguing elements have to do battle with a predictable and pretty contrived story. Rated: 2/5 Feb 25, 2019 Full Review Matthew Bond The Mail on Sunday (UK) This British film is consistently just a little better and more surprising than it first appears. Rated: 3/5 Oct 31, 2017 Full Review Philip French Observer (UK) Blows and bullets are exchanged, severed limbs stolen, ruthless sex-traffickers encountered. May 18, 2013 Full Review Read all reviews
