It's very hard to find historical films like this one. This film made me grew interest in Simón Bolívar's life despite missing details. My only complain was the editing towards the end. Overall, I highly recommend it if you are curious about Latin American Independence.

Garrett's artistic performance, showmanship and technique was sublime in his portrayal of Paganini. The plot was predictable and Faustian but still entertaining and thought provoking.

I didn't like it at all. It's a collection of exaggerations, historical imprecisions, and conspirative theories serving to Chaves' party interests, it oozes hate against Colombia, Santander, and the USA.
