My opinion is that the film has an interesting soundtrack, a story perhaps inspired by classic novels and also shows an evolution in some characters with new perspectives, an evolution with a father and his daughter, it also shows the power of humility with differences and It's a pity that the film didn't go to the cinema, but it was a good film I'd say.

The Lion King II: Simba's Pride is the best of the direct to DVD Disney sequel and the most underrated Disney movie ever. I love the new and returning characters and I love the Romeo and Juliet plot. Kovu and Kiara are relatable and easy to root for Protagonists. They have a perfect love story. I also like Simba in this movie. He's not perfect, he's still learning and in the end, he learned not Judge a book by it's cover. All and all, The Lion King II: Simba's Pride is a perfect sequel and a underrated Disney movie.
