Christian A loved this caught it on hulu Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/07/24 Full Review Collin B He walked out of prison ten years later and hadn't aged a day. Also he somehow had his tips frosted while incarcerated. Didn't get any better after this. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/28/24 Full Review Torontogal4603 They made the guy to be a complete idiot! Who wrote the script? They should be out of jobs! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/24 Full Review Nafis F Its a pretty good thriller movie. Pretty good for time pass. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/22/23 Full Review Matthew A Familiar faces drew me to this one. The name, well, did not. The acting was good, and the plotline, though you knew the ending or did I, was good. I was sad to see a character die, but I expected it. But then again, the stories are so over-told. The actors played well off each other, and the asses were typecast! I would spend the time on this one, it was worth the watch! I do hope to see this cast together in another show. Ving was great, as always. Ryan was also giving the performance we expected (good), Kate did well, but I think she was held back a bit with the writing, I'm not sure this was the best fit for what you would expect from her. She did well, it just wasn't a good fit. Gabriela was excellent, and a surprise, as I don't think I have seen her, or at least noticed until this film! Keep up the good work Gabriela!! Like I said, spend the time, it was worth the investment of mine! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/27/23 Full Review Stoner J A decent crime thriller, definitely on the lower budgeted side but it was done well. Leslie Felperin Guardian The plot manoeuvres in this léger noir are so boilerplate and predictable that viewers are likely to find themselves expecting much bigger twists than are actually delivered. Rated: 2/5 Apr 18, 2023 Full Review Murtada Elfadl Variety Pay it half a mind and every few minutes a loud bang, a gunshot or an actor yelling would draw attention. The plot is so straightforward that nothing will be missed. Alas, nothing is gained either, and the entertainment value is subpar at best. Rated: D Feb 4, 2023 Full Review Noel Murray Los Angeles Times “The Locksmith” has a fine film noir premise, delivered with a fair amount of oomph by a veteran cast and first-time feature director Nicolas Harvard. Feb 3, 2023 Full Review Carla Hay Culture Mix The Locksmith is an idiotic flop whose screenplay should've stayed locked up in places where bad screenplays never get made into movies. The plot twists are really plot holes. The performances and direction are low-quality and uninspired. Apr 24, 2023 Full Review Rich Cline Shadows on the Wall While everything about this dramatic thriller feels familiar, it's made watchable by a strong cast and an earthy filmmaking approach that hints at emotional depth. Rated: 3/5 Feb 8, 2023 Full Review Keith Garlington Keith & the Movies (Phillippe) has found a home in these B-movie thrillers. But to his credit there’s never a sense he’s slumming it or just cashing a check. He’s a sturdy lead who finds ways to make each of his characters interesting. It’s the same with “The Locksmith”.
