Zvi T Love this movie. Simply beautiful Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/24/23 Full Review Colin W I'm perplexed by the low score. I loved the film. The self absorbed main character is reminiscent of Alfie (combined with "Arthur"). What makes the film work for me is a perfect music score and sets that create the right mood for that world that those like myself don't inhabit. The voiceover is introspective self-deprecation by the main character with both insight and humour. Some won't like the voiceover but then again, I like the original Blade Runner voiceover. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/25/23 Full Review T M Absolute Gem. Great soundtrack too. If you like Wes Anderson, or even if you don't, it stands on its own. Is it Iron Man? No. Is the Rock in it? No. Are the cars fast and furious? No. Lots of gratuitous action and violence? Nope. .......and that's why it's great. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 11/02/22 Full Review Audience Member This felt like a woody Allen movie 2.8 Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/05/22 Full Review r b It held my interest. It tries a little too hard to be a Wes Anderson film. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Peter Sobczynski RogerEbert.com Not even the able actors that Glanz somehow managed to rope into his project can do much with the draggy story and the vapid characters that they have been given to play. Rated: 1/4 Sep 5, 2014 Full Review Martin Tsai Los Angeles Times Like so many filmmaking wunderkinds who could have used a course in common sense, Glanz is technically assured but emotionally hollow. Sep 5, 2014 Full Review Bill Goodykoontz Arizona Republic It takes effort to turn a movie with a cast as appealing as the one in "The Longest Week" into a grating exercise in narcissism, but writer and director Peter Glanz proves up to the task. Rated: 2/5 Sep 4, 2014 Full Review Nicholas Bell IONCINEMA.com Despite a nicely chosen cast and a handful of flourishes borrowed from the works of cinematic masters, there's little carbonation to this stale elixir that too often depends on cliché. Rated: 2/5 Sep 5, 2019 Full Review S. Jhoanna Robledo Common Sense Media Tiresome romcom doesn't live up to promise; some iffy stuff. Rated: 2/5 Sep 15, 2014 Full Review Melissa Weller Paste Magazine Throughout the film, the writing is heady but heartless, as if Glanz means to occupy the intellectual high ground by exploiting tired romantic clichés and passing off his finger pointing as evidence of self-righteousness.
