Frank Scheck Hollywood Reporter Crudely effective, although you've seen it all before. Mar 5, 2018 Full Review Noel Murray Los Angeles Times The veteran director has more than enough chops to keep a doggedly generic premise lively. Mar 1, 2018 Full Review Craig D. Lindsey Village Voice The filmmakers do an effective job at making a clever horror show out of postpartum depression. So it's a shame the movie goes off the deep end in the final act ... Feb 28, 2018 Full Review Dan Scully Cinema76 But all things considered this chiller is a worthwhile curiosity, chock full of unsettling imagery, that will certainly shake up those willing to tap into its groove. Mar 23, 2020 Full Review Rich Cline Shadows on the Wall An enjoyable freak-out. Rated: 3/5 Jun 1, 2018 Full Review Andrew Marshall Starburst While the haunting apparition is certainly compellingly sinister enough, in terms of ghost action the film doesn't really offer much more than any B-class J-horror from fifteen years ago. Audience Member The storyline had sooo much potential and was exicuted very poorly. There are so many unanswered questions. Some scenes are added with no real context to the story line. It's filmed in all the same dull lighting you can't tell day from night as it's filmed mostly inside a boring looking house that lacks that the creepy feeling needed in a good horror movie. One of the main characters comes and goes from the house with out real explanation which becomes confusing at times as there are scenes when they are not really there but imagined to be by the other main character. They make weird creepy horror scenes for no real reason to add unnecessary scare factor in which makes no sense to the plot. This movie plot would make a great thriller and has made a terrible horror. It's ment to touch on postpartum depression and looks like the person directing it has no real clue what that is except what they googled it to be. Very disappointing watch. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member What a tedious movie. Incessant histeria, screaming and ridiculous hallucinations by the lead, over the top crying by the baby and a most irritatingly critical grandmother. All the characters are annoying and you really hope they all die. A complete waste of time. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member it's fine, but i wouldn't recommend it. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member The actors were really good in this movie which is the only reason i gave it 3 stars. Honestly the whole rape storyline felt very outdated, and I mean that in the sense that it was how movies portrayed rape in the 1980s. Felt a bit to me like r/menwritingwomen. The thing that really pissed me off is before her friend rapes her (rape #2) there's a shot of him putting down a bottle of beer, and they close up on the beer, like he's a good guy usually but he's drunk so he rapes his childhood friend. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Low quality, slow, plotless... enough says Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/15/20 Full Review Audience Member pretty boring........
