Audience Member The Venom Mob, the team in front of and behind the camera who made "The Five Deadly Venoms" made kind of a silly film here about a towns crime boss who fights with a golden sword keeps his skills sharp by challenging all-comers and then brutally killed them. The goofy townspeople no longer seem to know kung-fu, or at least all the real martial artists left, so there is no one to challenge the evil boss. But one group then trains, leading to the obligatory martial arts training sequences, and then an eventual showdown. Despite a pretty weak story, the film does deliver some terrific fight sequences, even if the fighting style is more of an old style of fighting and seems dated compared to the more modern style ushered in by the like of a young Jackie Chan or soon after Jet Li and Tsui Hark.
