The idea that you must do anything to get your film made. Including all the hardships between the producers, directors, crew members, and actors. Using what seems to be gibberish but for all of the that understand even the littlest bit of film mumbo jumbo then you can understand most of what they are getting at in this film Reminds me of a film called Man Under Table, where the film is all about a person's view on the indie film industry in LA. This feels like the same type of commentary but less about the surrealism. I would love to have other film students watch this and see what they think.

Lower budget film but with decent performances, cool locations and a good message about pursuing one's art despite the vagaries of commerce. If you want a studio film, look elsewhere, but if you like scrappy indies with heart, watch this one.

The Mentor is an excellent indie film that entertains and challenges. Moez Solis delivers a unique blend of comedy and suspense and is certainly an extremely creative director. Top-notch performances by Brandi Nicole Payne and Liz Sklar. Highly recommended!

This was an entertaining, zany indie flick. Lot of unpredictable movements, which kept you interested. Sometimes felt as though it were indulging a bit too much in its self-referentiality, but overall an interesting satire.
