Audience Member Although it hasn't aged well it's still very enjoyable and would be great for a remake. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/17/22 Full Review Liam D A standard monster mash but it's not a graveyard smash Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/03/22 Full Review tom k Under appreciated and underrated, this is a fun film and a must see for Vincent Price fans. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member The short stories weren't bad. The bands that played between the stories were painful Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Entertaining as a curiosity only, The Monster Club falls flat otherwise. It does have that signature hammy humor that we all remember fondly from Vincent Price. And while the full uncut musical performances in between the stories are interesting, they get long and boring after a while and I found myself wondering why we can't get on with the show. Beyond that, these are three mediocre stories that are executed in a strictly low budget and wooden fashion without a lot of imagination. At one point it gets so low budget the viewer is treated to a series of comic book style storyboards with a narration of the story. if I want to read a comic book I will buy a comic book. I'd say steer clear of this one. I honestly don't understand the good reviews coming from some of the so-called professional critics. This is not a good movie. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review martin a An interesting high camp horror with Vincent Price and John Carradine, who meet after Vincent who is a vampire who helps himself to Johns's blood, but as a thank, you takes the writer to a Monster club in the hope of inspiring his horror novels. Whilst there 3 tales of horror are told. Tale two however despite having the excellent Donald Pleasence in, the story fails to address the bullies, which would have been nice to end with. All the tales are great and the acting is top-notch, even if a little camp Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
