Ted B 2.5 stars; An Ellery Queen mystery. Ralph Bellamy played the role of Ellery and did okay. The mystery portion was clever enough. Hillary was hired to keep an eye on activity in the hospital of a wealthy old lady. Suspicious things were happening. However, the old lady is murdered and everyone's a suspect. The attempts at humor by Bellamy and the bumbling hoods may have been appropriate for the 1940s, but they were a little too slapstick and zany for today's taste.
