nick s The production wasn't too bad - a little stagey - but I found the story rather overwrought. It was going for the Sherlock Holmes vibe, where Dr Watson is lead around by the nose and never privy to the great one's deductions. Gets irritating. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 04/09/24 Full Review Audience Member The film is actually from 1935 Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member A great gem if you can find it. I found it in a dollar bin and I've never been able to find it since. One of Lugosi's better performances. Not necessarily a horror movie as much as it is a mystery. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member I wouldn't wish this film on anyone quite frankly. Almost unbearable to watch with slow-moving action and poor acting.
