In this fourth chapter of the hit comedy franchise THE NAPA BOYS, Jack Jr. (Nick Corirossi), his reluctant co-captain Miles Jr. (Armen Weitzman), and the rest of the Napa Boys gang are back for one more wine-sloshed journey into the unknown. With a mission set forth by the mysterious "Sommelier," they are joined this time by Puck, a bright young podcaster and the Napa Boys' biggest fan, as the group embarks on the adventure of a lifetime. Featuring Sarah Ramos, Mike Mitchell, Chloe Cherry, Vanessa Chester, Paul Rust, Jamar Neighbors, Nelson Franklin, David Wain, Ray Wise, Riki Lindhome, Natasha Leggero, Ivy Wolk and Beth Dover, THE NAPA BOYS enlists a hilarious ensemble of alt-comedians to hop in the Wine Wagon™ for the new installment in this historic (made-up) franchise.

Critics Consensus

The Napa Boys occasionally hints at sharp intelligence but ultimately collapses into an endless string of inside jokes and unfocused gags that rarely cohere.

Still, there is something about Corirossi's comedy that's so committedly in your face you can't ignore it, but I grew weary of its artillery of sophomoric, repetitive inside-baseball jokes. Go to Full Review

The humor is over-the-top and often exaggeratedly juvenile, but like many nominally “dumb” comedies, it’s the product of a keen and deliberate intelligence. Go to Full Review

It’s the equivalent of witnessing a trio having a conversation, but two members suddenly decide to start cracking inside jokes. It can be novel for a while, but such isolation can quickly sour into resentment due to exclusion. Go to Full Review

The sort of movie that seems like it’s made up entirely of inside jokes that I’m not a part of. Go to Full Review

Great jokes fall flat or fail to meet their full potential because the script is focused on individual moments with little regard to their part in the actual whole. Go to Full Review

Matt R Mar 10 Heartwarming that something so weird and stupid (complimentary) can exist in an era of soulless slop. To the grape! See more Irate T @IrateTyrant 3d Mitch! Mitch! Mitch! A lot of people thought I wasn't going to review this movie because I loved it so much, but I'm here to prove them wrong, I am going to review this movie. I loved it so much. Either laughing or smiling ear to ear the entire time. Just genius. I didn't think Armen Weitzman was that funny on CBB, but after watching him on Doughboys, I knew he had it. Of course, Mitch. Way funnier than it needs to be, which is its only fault. Ray Wise! See more Harry P @HarryNuhtzack Apr 21 Had me dying from start to finish. My new favorite comedy. I will be rewatching over and over again. To the grape! See more Jack W @Jackieboybaby Apr 20 Easily the best comedy of the year. Absolutely filled with funny, memorable scenes. See more prawnda S @RT72497680 Apr 20 it seems like everyone had fun making this, but this crew is much better suited to short form content. the film has its moments but is very disorganized and mostly relies on slapstick humor. i think that this movie could probably be much funnier with a larger budget and if nick corirossi was just a character instead of directing, since the movie is basically 100% devoid of structure. he's definitely got funny ideas, but i think he needs some more guidance to create a finished film.
