Audience Member Giant mutate animal movies can have some charm if there is a little something/something to help you get behind them. Drugs & alcohol don't hurt things any but if you are running dry you have to look else where for actual entertainment value. Most of them are schlocky enough to find mild amusement or @ least have a cast that you can sorta get behind. An outlandish premise that you shake your head @ doesn't hurt. It's Z-grade stuff so you take it where you can get it. Island Claws offers none of those key elements that make a piece of shit film that can float. Instead it just sinks to the bottom of the bowl. You're better off just to flush & be done w/ it before its stench leaps on you Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Fun and little-known ode to the Giant Monster movies of yore, featuring a humongous-and seriously-P.O.'d genetically-altered crab on the warpath in Florida, indiscriminately making seafood salad out of the local-yokels it encounters. While certainly not an outstanding film, it has decent special effects (The colossal crustacean is impressively done-) and a good cast (Robert Lansing, Nita Talbot, Barry Nelson-), and the film-makers obviously had a huge appreciation for the movies this pays homage to.
