Despite the auteur’s best efforts to stage some truly astonishingly fantastical set pieces, a majority of the film that takes place outside of those pieces moves slower than Odysseus’ boat trying to escape an island full of giant Laestrygonians.

I didnt like the American dialogue and tone. The speechdidnt seem to reflect the region and time period.

I thought the movie is very good, but I dont understand why Christopher Nolan felt a need to have the volume so high during the entire movie and almost deafening during certain portions. I did not think that added anything to the movie and in fact, distracted me from enjoying the plot.
