Maria (Sarah Wayne Callies) becomes consumed with guilt after losing her son Oliver (Logan Creran) in a tragic accident. If you want to be scared out of your mind, I suggest you choose a different film - Paranormal Activity perhaps. The other side of the door was an idea that had some potential, but it definitely doesn't live up to it.

Extremely underrated. Fun watch. The horror movie genre is very difficult to succeed in. While this movie employs a few cliches, it is not nearly as bad as these reviews make it out to be. Definitely worth watching, especially if you've already watched most of the popular movies of this genre.

I enjoyed this movie a lot more than I expected based on its low score here. It was interesting, built tension really well, and while it had some jump scares it didn't rely on them to carry the movie. I'd definitely watch this again.
