Cork B horrible. Even by romcom standards. So dumb. I felt bad they were taking advantage of that special needs princess. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 09/02/25 Full Review Patrice P Look, every royal romance movie is bad. But I enjoy brain candy and am capable of an extremely high level of suspension of disbelief. But this one was ***SO*** bad. I’m supposed to believe that a prince from a place nobody has ever heard of comes to New York for some reason to announce his bride (even though it is clearly not filmed in New York, and apparently nobody in the film has ever even been to the city because they can’t give any impression of its characteristics), and his parents aren’t there, but they are super controlling and insisting that their son marry one of three women who are all princesses but somehow lack the basic manners of a kindergartener. So instead he chooses to marry a polyester-clad plastic jewelry and 1990’s hair claw-wearing PA who isn’t smart enough to come up with a real question for the very real demands of being a princess? This is freaking 2025 people!!! The Prince of Wales married a commoner, as did the King of England before him. And we’re still doing plots about princes from mystery kingdoms chaffing under royal rules? I’m not asking you to come up with an original idea. Just please pick up a newspaper or watch 2-3 of the 5,000 other movies with this exact same plot line to give your film an ounce of credibility.
