Synopsis
As the Bosnian War erupts around him, hard-drinking Sarajevo poet Hamza (Mustafa Nadarevic) remains seemingly indifferent to the surrounding dangers. His wife, Gospodja (Jasna Diklic), doubting her husband's commitment to her own well-being, leaves the city. Hamza isn't alone for long, though, as 7-year-old Adis (Almedin Leleta) and 9-year-old Kerim (Almir Podgorica) -- a pair of orphaned siblings -- show up at his doorstep. While the city crumbles, the trio evolves into a makeshift family.
