Ali C There are so many holes in this storyline and clearly Jake is not 17. He’s like 25…terrible acting. Could have been a cute storyline if it was produced and written better, but it was such a poorly executed movie. did any of the producers or editors actually watch the movie before they released it? That makes no sense. He enters a surfing tournament when not once in the entire movie do they actually show him getting up on a wave? And the whole scene about him surfing at night and going to the ER? What did he go to the ER for exactly? I agree with the previous review that they literally used a movie template that has been done hundreds and thousands of times before, but this was the most poorly executed version I’ve ever seen. The producer should be embarrassed. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/14/24 Full Review Audience Member My sister and I thought this movie was hysterically and utterly horrible. Everything about it is hilarious. Our favorite line: "even a flying squirrel can find an acorn once in a while" grandpa surfer. Full of unblended makeup, comical camera angles, and sudden little bursts of daddy issues and unnecessary violence. Would recommend this movie for all ages Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Awesome, feel good movie! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member This is very well shot for a lower-budget movie, but at the same time this is themes, cliches and a superficial conclusion that has been done many times before. This one simply uses surfing as its gimmick to mask the paint-by-numbers script. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member A wholesome fun family film that tugs at the right heart strings. Now silly twists or pretentiousness. Just a great film with beautiful scenery, heart felt characters and a gorgeous soundtrack. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews
