This is an interesting movie. Though it is supposed to be a sequel to the 2014 movie The Pirates, you can still enjoy without watching it, but, that film is fun to watch too, therefore consider it as a recommendation, if you have not seen it yet. Coming back to the movie, as you can expect it's a fun filled adventure comedy, with a pinch of romance in it. Some films helps you to escape from the harsh realities of life, some people use films as a hiding place, I am one of them. This film can give you 2 hours hide from life, just like a journey. Suggested for those Korean film lovers out there.

The plot of the movie is really great and unique. The main characters, Han Hyo Joo and Kang Ha Neul, have very good acting skills, and they have really great chemistry with each other. The graphics of the movie are really incredible, so it is really a must-watch movie.

Whilst The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure does have decent performances from Han Hyo Joo and Kang Ha Neul, the film does have several issues in terms of its uneven pacing, chaotic editing, characters that could had more screentime, its script could had done with a bit more polish to build upon and the humour doesn't always quite land.
