My suggestion to the filmmakers: If in doubt about what to do in a story, trust your characters, trust their dialogue and get out of the way. Go to Full Review

Yet another verbose film about a quartet of white males going through rough transition to adulthood. Steve Miller's song, The Joker, about the pompatus of love serves as the title for an uninspired tale. Go to Full Review

alan g @agenser Jan 27 A bad movie with a song for a title. What idiots thought they could make a movie out of a song title with a made up word? Where they high on drugs or stupid or both? Typical hokeywood crap. See more 12/28/2004 This movie COULD have been good. It starts out annoying, becomes entertaining, then interesting, then ... dull... finallly, somewhat smart, and then fulllllly disappointing. It's like Sex and the City with dudes. But it's not that good. STILL a good rental... the relationship between Jon Cryer and Kristen Wilson had the most promise, and everything else in the movie affected it. That sucks. EDIT: Yes. It was better than "The Brothers McMullen". See more Read all reviews
