Ian J @RT41035329 09/28/2024 A demonic cult takes posh Kate-Bushalike author, Magda, prisoner. Following that, this low-budget, British horror leans heavily on the script and small cast to build tension. It succeeds slightly more than it fails - and manages to mine a seam or two of classic Brit-horror-feeling from the Hammer era. But it's a bit overwrought. And I found it hard to continue caring about Magda. Especially as the claustrophobic setting and repetitive character interactions began to make the film feel over-long. See more Read all reviews
