Critics Consensus

Awash in random whimsy, The Price of Milk feels more forced and muddled than charming.

Adds up to considerably less than the sum of its parts. Go to Full Review

Too bad that unconscious haunting quality is in no way conveyed by the story, which soon reveals itself not as magical but silly -- and even irritating. Go to Full Review

04/17/2015 such a funny, cute, corny movie! fabulous! Love Karl & Danielle!! See more 02/19/2015 Modern fairy tale done with a small budget, ingenious camerawork, and an understated classical score. Lovely and strange. See more 03/07/2014 For a foreign made film, and understanding the people from down under, this was fun and cute. See more 09/23/2012 Continuing with my Karl Urban fetish, this is one of his early films and made in his native New Zealand. As you would expect, the settings in this film are astoundingly beautiful. To say the Kiwi's have a very strange sense of humour is an understatement! However, this film turns out to be a little gem of a romantic fairytale. It had me in histerics on several occasions. Most notably Rob's dog called Nigel, who's agoraphobic and runs around in a cardboard box. We have a new saying in this house now when downing a glass of milk.... 'Bottoms up!!' You really have to see the film to get that one. See more 08/03/2012 Some people have problems with this movie because they "Don't Understand It". I personally think it's beautiful, adorable and romantic. See more 01/10/2012 i like this movie a lot the price of milk is a real good movie to watch from gabbye. See more Read all reviews
