Panos Kotzathanasis HanCinema Α film almost nonsensical as it unfolds like a collage of episodes rather than a solid story. However, these episodes are quite entertaining as they combine minor violence with black humor, based on the family's mischievous but naive characters Jan 6, 2019 Full Review Film Threat Rated: 3.5/5 Dec 6, 2005 Full Review Emanuel Levy EmanuelLevy.Com Rated: 2/5 Jul 21, 2005 Full Review Film Threat Rated: 3.5/5 Dec 8, 2002 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member A dark farce about how choosing to tell one lie can quickly lead to more and more consequences. Hitchcockian in its situational setups by withholding information that the viewer knows from the film's characters, this film consistently gives viewers satisfying payoffs to both situational humor and suspenseful situations. A great ensemble cast lends itself to character types that play off each other well (the stern father, the goofy, childlike uncle, the idiot older brother, the innocent younger sisters) by testing each others' values and limits. Adept camerawork and lens movement make the inn feel like a director's dollhouse. Genuinely funny and dark enough to toe the line between charming and horrifying. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Very dark and very funny. Where a normal person would go, "Oh dear, a dead body. I should notify the authorities..." The quiet family is more like, "Go get a shovel..." Good performances as the actors portray a family trying to run a little mountain inn as the body count rises... Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Charming little black comedy from Korea Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member one of the best comic horror. if you liked Death becomes her, you'll love this movie too. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member This was hysterical! I thought it would be more scary with funny undertones but it turned out to be the opposite. Definitely recommend this one. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Great movie, hilarious, and suspenseful at all the right moments! It was released in 1998, not 2011 Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Read all reviews
