It's not just a reminder of the evil of the Nazis, it's also a magnificent tribute to those people who had the courage to do the right thing even at great personal risk. The stark contrast in personalities between the two Van Hall brothers helps drive home just what a difficult time this was, as they both faced execution if they were caught and both were strong in different ways. The story is never heavy handed, but there are not many light moments, either. If you want a film to help you relax and unwind, this might not be the best choice.
