Audience Member I'm not sure why this film was made. It offered nothing new on what we already know and I even think I lost a few thousand brain cells watching it. Not that I could bare watching the whole thing it was so badly cast and badly acted. If you like listening to bad cockney gangster accents saying everything in a sarcastic, menacing tone then this is for you. Absolute waste of Netflix's storage space. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member You won't regret watching this film! I've no idea why viewers have rated this film so low (28% by the public, the critics haven't even bothered with this one). It's at least a 4 star rating for me. It's possible that a non UK audience without knowing the story of the Krays didn't identify with the film. The acting is great, Ronnie gives a chilling portrayal. The rest of the cast is very good too. No ham handed actors in this film. The story is true and compelling. Great cast, great acting, great direction, great production. I would highly recommend watching this film, you will not regret it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member It seemed pointless continuing with this film, not because it didn't hold my interest, but it was made around the same time as the The big film with Tom Hardy, how could this compare? Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member the box says 'the best british gangster film ever'-ha! i liked the first version of this 1990's 'the krays' best Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member in my opinion a better movie than legend but now i have to wait till March 28 to see part 2 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member All the movie is is a blatant cash-in on the titular Brothers, and their notorious rise to power. Matthew Anderson CineVue A plodding, methodical thriller that generates little to no tension and is as anti-climactic as they come, it's ironic that this two-parter does not do justice to two of England's most infamous lawbreakers. Rated: 1/5 Apr 8, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews
